Unlock the potential you never knew you had.
Hi, I’m Sue and I have late - diagnosed ADHD. I’ve learned a lot and now I want to share with others.
I help busy humans untangle mental traffic and get things done; no lofty mantras, just practical shifts you can put to the test right away. If you’re done circling the same roundabout of guilt and shame because you haven’t been able to get started on your own, you’re in the right place.
The fact is that many neurodivergent people struggle with executive disfunction, which is a result of a lack of dopamine in the brain. The lack of the neurotransmitter dopamine can result in an inability to motivate oneself to any but the most urgent or interesting tasks. If you are a gifted architect or a talented artist (for example), you might be killing it in your career, but still struggle to keep a clean and organized home.
Enter Body Doubling. when a person with ADHD (not exclusively, but often) has another person present they are typically able to get tasks done that they previously couldn't get started. This can be done in person, or even virtually. My business model includes connecting with clients over video chat to help them tackle the things they can’t get done on their own. The client often knows exactly what they want to do, and how to do it, they only need external motivation to get going.
People with ADHD also often have trouble with their short - term or working memory. I have numerous strategies to help with remembering important things that would otherwise slip away.
Most importantly, as a person with ADHD myself, I understand all the emotional scars and insecurities that growing up in a world not made for our brains can cause. I approach clients with respect and understanding, plenty of humor, and a firm but gentle push.
